Bay Area duo The Pennys is the collaborative project of Mike Ramos (Flowertown, Cindy) and R.E. The wonderful San Francisco lo-fi psych folk act Flowertown is back with new music at the end of the month with the upcoming "Tourist Language" LP.  The duo have fast become one of my favorite artists over the last couple years, their fuzzy hum being the perfect sound to soothe my very being.  Check out "The Ring" below and pre-order the new album here from Paisley Shirt Records.

Woke up to discover some wonderful and fuzzy indie pop this morning from San Francisco duo Flowertown.  The band makes hazy, dreampop-tinged, lo-fi pop with a jangle here and some reverb there that feels like its simultaneously pulling from sounds of the '60s, the '90s, and from a decade ago.  Check out "Time Trials," the title track from their new album below, and snag a copy of the record here from Paisley Shirt.
