We are getting new solo music from the one and only Beth Gibbons in May with the Portishead singer's upcoming new album "Lives Outgrown."  Working with Joel Ford and Talk Talk's Lee Harris, this one just moved up to one of my most anticipated releases of the year.  Check out first single "Floating on a Moment" below and pre-order the record here from Domino.

Young Ejecta

Young Ejecta is the synth pop project of Leanne Macomber and Joel Ford, and it's been a few years since we last heard from them.  The duo looks to remedy that with this summer's upcoming "Ride Lonesome" LP.  Listen to the sweet and melancholy "Crayon Cactus" below and pre-order the record here from Driftless Recordings.

Joel Ford (featuring Ejecta)

Here's a new one from electronic artist Joel Ford from his upcoming "Fugitive" album out next year.  "Breathe" features regular Ford collaborator Ejecta (Leanne Macomber) and contains snips and samples from various 80's and 90's action movies.  It's a driving, pulsing video game opus, a direct to video score to gnash your teeth to.  Listen below and be on the lookout for the record on Driftless Recordings.

Com Truise & Joel Ford

Producer and synthesizer enthusiast Com Truise has a new EP due from Ghostly in February called "Wave 1."  First Single "Declination" features fellow synth freak Joel Ford (of Ford and Lopatin fame) on warped, effects-laden vocals.  It's a nice piece of bubble gum to get us all through the winter.  Listen below.
