Maston & L'eclair

Here's a new and breezy track from kosmische and library influenced LA artist Maston.  On "Souvenir," he teams with Swiss band L'eclair to create a groovy little ditty.  A full album is reportedly on the way.  Check the track out below and get it here from Innovative Leisure.

LA artist Maston makes cool and kitschy throwback pop, utilizing jazz, exotica, psychedelia, lounge music, and library sounds to create something that feels like it's scoring a European movie from 50 years ago.  It's a wonderful sound to create.  Check out "Adieu" below and download the new "Panorama" album here.

Maston Remixes Bananagun

Australian psych outfit Bananagun released their debut album "The True Story of Bananagun" earlier this summer, and now that album's lead off single, the groovy "Out of Reach," gets an even groovier remix from 60's kosmische psych homage wizard Maston.  Check out the video below and download the track here via Full Time Hobby.

Last year, LA artist Maston released one of my favorite albums of the year, the exotic, library sound-indebted kosmische pop of "Tulips."  As it turns out, the sessions for that record produced a lot of music that didn't make the cut...until now.  "Darkland" features a brand new batch of said exotic tunes from the "Tulips" sessions, all in a sweet and psychedelic mood.  Listen to "Endless" below and download the album here from the artist.
