Lynn Avery & Cole Pulice
There's something instantly familiar yet otherworldly about "To Live & Die in Space & Time," the new album from Lynn Avery and Cole Pulice. The hazy and ethereal mix of ambient new age and loungey jazz make for the kind of noir-tinged future music for a future that will never actually exist. Check out "Belt of Venus" below and get the cassette here from Moon Glyph.

Death and Vanilla
A couple of years ago, Swedish experimental, post-rock, psych-prog band Death and Vanilla did a live score for the 1932 horror film "Vampyr" that was released on cassette via Moon Glyph. The kind folks over at Kalligrammofon Recordings have seen fit to reissue the album on blood red vinyl...and it's beautiful, both the music and the packaging. Being an import, it will set you back a few bucks, but it's probably worth it. Get it here. Stream the whole thing below.

Lord Dog Bird
Drawn out organ notes echoing back and forth at each other as if cascading off of cliff walls hypnotize while nasally and clean vocals keep you at attention. Like a good church sermon. That pretty much sums up Lord Dog Bird's "The Trinity Knot" LP on Moon Glyph. Get it here and listen to "Two Shimmering Stones" below.
