WITCH with Sampa The Great

Zambian band WITCH released their first new music in 38 years last fall, and are now set to release their first new album in just as long in June.  And our first taste of "Zango" features the wonderful Zambian born Sampa The Great on vocals.  Dig on the Zamrock of "Avalanche of Love" below and pre-order the LP here from Desert Daze Sound.

Quakers Featuring Sampa The Great

I was unaware that we were getting a new Quakers album this year, much less that it's dropping next week.  That's wonderful news as any new music from Geoff Barrow should be considered, and i hope just the first of a string of wonderful news we get today.  Anyway, check out the Sampa The Great assisted "Approach With Caution" below and order the record here from Stones Throw.

Sampa The Great

Here's a new single from Australian rapper Sampa The Great.  "Final Form" feels like a triumphant statement, sampled soulful, cinematic horns calling to the heavens or announcing an arrival, as the MC flows on top of it with an assured coolness.  It's fucking rad.  Listen below and get it here from Ninja Tune.
