Daily Jam - For I Am Cursed
You ever have a record that for some reason kind of falls by the wayside for whatever reason? Like maybe you were really paying more attention to some other music at the time, or you just had a lot on your plate, or whatever? And then, maybe a year later or more, you hear a song that you really like, and think, man i need to buy this, only to discover after a quick search that you already do own it? That happened to me with Youth Code and the song "For I Am Cursed." Check it out below, our Daily Jam.

Youth Code - Lost at Sea (Chelsea Wolfe Remix)
Industrial duo Youth Code recently made the excellent decision to recruit Goth folk chanteuse Chelsea Wolfe to remix their 2016 track "Lost at Sea." Ms. Wolfe then made the excellent decision to recruit Deafheaven's George Clarke to provide new vocals on the track. The end result is a scorching and haunting mix of icy electronics, metal wail, and noise. I love it. And as a bonus, all the proceeds go to Planned Parenthood. Buy it here and listen below.

Youth Code - Anagnorisis
Here's a new industrial screamer from LA's Youth Code called "Anagnorisis." Reminiscent of the old Waxtrax days, the duo always take me back to my youth, blasting this kind of music at maximum volume in my bedroom. Listen below and grab the 7" from Dais Records.

Youth Code
LA's Youth Code are set to release a new EP on Dais next month called "A Place to Stand." It will consist of new jams and remixes from last year's self-titled record. The Wax Trax influence on this industrial duo is inescapable...but it also makes for some awesome music. Listen to "Consuming Guilt" below.

Youth Code
One of the groups i unfortunately did not get a chance to check out last week during SXSW was LA's electronic industrial noise makers Youth Code. It's good to know that the kids are still listening to Wax Trax and Skinny Puppy. Get the repress of their self-titled album at Dais Records and listen to "Carried Mask" below.
