HEALTH
LA noisemakers HEALTH's "Disco 4: Part 1" dropped back in 2020, and it looks like we've got part two on the horizon. These two records have found the band moving beyond the usual remixes that used to fill up their "Disco" releases, instead collaborating with a whole host of different artists spanning genres and styles. The latest taste is "Cold Blood" which pairs the band with Virginia metal band Lamb of God. Check it out below and pre-order "Disco 4: Part 2" here via Loma Vista Recordings.

HEALTH x Poppy
For the last couple of years, it seems like every month or so we get a new collaborative release between LA's synthy, noisy, industrial art-rock band HEALTH and an eclectic array of other artists. It's always been a cool pairing, and honestly, every song has been great. The latest is "Dead Flowers" which finds the band collaborating with dark pop artist Poppy. There's an almost sinister, gothy shoegaze feel to the track as it sludges along. Awesome stuff. Check out the video below and keep an eye out for the upcoming "Disco 4::Part II" hopefully in the near future.

HEALTH
With their recent string of collaborations over the last few months, i was kind of assuming that LA electro-noise makers HEALTH were prepping some kind pulsing, screaming, techno duets record. Turns out i was wrong. Rather, those were all one-off singles, and the band just has a regular new record headed our way in February. Either way, new music from HEALTH is a good thing. Watch the video for "Slaves of Fear" below and get the band's "Vol 4: Slaves of Fear" LP next year from Loma Vista.

HEALTH x Perturbator
LA noise makers HEALTH have been releasing a string of singles over the last several months, and their latest, released this morning, is a total banger featuring French synthwave artist Perturbator. Watch the old school video game-themed video for "Body/Prison" below, and hope we get more collaborations from the two artists in the future.

HEALTH X Soccer Mommy
So, noisy electro-industrial band HEALTH have teamed with indie darlings Soccer Mommy and Corin Roddick of Purity Ring to make a song together. And it works. "Mass Grave" is a slow burning, moody, electro-goth number to perfectly score an overcast day. Read the band's press releases, listen to the jam, and watch the skull-filled video below.
The annals of music history are filled with a rich tradition of trios. Crosby, Stills, & Nash… Emerson, Lake, and Palmer… Lennon, McCartney, and that other guy… And now Soccer Mommy, the guy from Purity Ring, and HEALTH. We give you ‘MASS GRAVE.’

St. Vincent
Hey guys, how did you let me almost go through 2017 without mentioning St. Vincent's new album? That was a close one. Anyway, "Masseducation" is out now on Loma Vista. Watch the video for "Los Ageless" below. That song's a banger.

HEALTH and Preoccupations
Noisy LA electro-rock band HEALTH periodically release dancey remixes of their work. They're a lot of fun, and the third installment, the aptly named "DISCO 3," has been out for a couple of months, but just made it to vinyl today (i think). Anyway, as per usual it does not disappoint. Listen to Preoccupations' remix of "Men Tomorrow" below and get the album from Loma Vista.

Iggy Pop - Gardenia
So, Iggy Pop recorded a new album with Queens of The Stone Age front man Josh Homme...and if that didn't just pique your interest and make your day, then i don't want to know what's wrong with you. "Post Pop Depression" is due in March on Loma Vista, but you can listen to the grooving and driving first single "Gardenia" below. Classic Pop.

HEALTH - New Coke
Man, it seems like forever since we've gotten new music from LA art noise punks HEALTH, but here's a new single from their upcoming third album "Death Magic." "New Coke" feels like a haunted club anthem, a sort of death to the new wave raver kids. Watch the video below and get the album in August from Loma Vista.
Oh, and it would be kind of dickish of me if i didn't warn you about the slow motion vomit at video's end...so, i guess prepare yourself for that.
