I finally, finally, finally got to go out and catch my friend's band Red Ox last night and dive deep into their sonic swirl of drone, doom metal, proggy synth rock, psych, and just a hint of stoner metal. It's a fantastic mix, and a proper debut LP should be on the horizon in the future.
