Backxwash
I just heard Canadian rapper Backxwash for the first time a few weeks ago with her appearance on a new track from post punk band Algiers. Doing a little digging, and the rapper has released some really dark and impressive work on her own mixing hip-hop, metal, punk, noise, and more. New album "His Happiness Shall Come First Even Though We Are Suffering" just dropped today, and it kicks ass. Check out "VIBANDA" featuring Morgan-Paige and Michael Go below and get the album here.

Voice Actor
I'm not 100% sure what to make of "Sent from my Telephone," the absolutely massive new album from Voice Actor. The album comes in at over 100 tracks and over 3 hours long and is a mesmerizing and woozy mix of ambient synths, old hip-hop samples, hypnotic spoken word, digital folk, and other sonic detritus. Put yourself in a trance and check the whole thing out here from STROOM.tv, but listen to "Another Day" below in the meantime.
Daily Jam (October Edition) - Cool Gool
