Oh Sees
If i go more that a couple of months without hearing that there's new music on the way from Oh Sees, i start to worry. Anyway, it's been a couple months, so here's some new music on the way from Oh Sees. Check out the quick blast of psych punk with the punchy "Dreary Nonsense" below and pre-order the "Protean Threat" album here from the band, and then keep an eye on a physical release from Castle Face Records after that.

Oh Sees
Let's see. In the last few weeks, the prolific Ty Segall and King Gizzard have both announced new albums. So if the trains are running on time, that means we should also be getting new music from Oh Sees...and we are. The new double album "Face Stabber" is out in August on Castle Face. Listen to the epic, 20+ minute "Henchlock" below and pre-order here.

Oh Sees - Clearly Invisible
Because they never, ever, ever rest, John Dwyer and Co., known around most parts as Thee Oh Sees, or OCS, or Oh Sees, or some other variation there of, have a new release to close the year out with. "Clearly Invisible" is a sprawling and fried piece of sound. Listen below and grab the record here via Castle Face.

Warm Drag
Warm Drag is the duo of Paul Quattrone (Oh Sees, !!!) and Vashti Windish (Golden Triangle), and the pair create a kind of warped and dubby version of psych rock, a lo-fi and trippy mess of sound. A self-titled record is due sometime later this summer from In The Red, but in the meantime, check out first single "Cave Crawl" below, with a warbled video to match.

Oh Sees - Overthrown
I know it's hard to believe this, but John Dwyer has a new Oh Sees record heading our way in the near future. Considering he seems to average at least two records a year, and it's almost June, i guess he's fallen a little behind. Anyway, listen to "Overthrown" below, and kinetic, frenetic burst of noisy psych-prog (prog-psych?) to herald the arrival of the upcoming "Smote Reverser" LP. Download it here and dig on that Lovecraftian apocalypse album art.

Oh Sees
John Dwyer and Co. have changed their name from Thee Oh Sees to just Oh Sees. This isn't the first time the band's name has changed. I remember way back when they were called OCS. Anyway, it's going to the throw me off a little, but the ever prolific artist will be releasing his first album under the new moniker in August on Castle Face. Listen to the frenetic "The Static God" below and be sure to snag the "Orc" LP when it's available.
