Good news everyone! It looks like March will bring us a new album from U.S. Girls. The band seems to been continuing their exploration of soul and disco on the new record, and this time around are joined by E Street Band saxophonist Jake Clemons. Nice. Anyway, pre-order "Heavy Light" here via 4AD and watch the video for "Overtime" below.

worriedaboutsatan
Here's some airy, ethereal, and soothing music from UK artist worriedaboutsatan to help us all float along on this Sunday in early January. Listen to "Step Inside" below and get the new "Crystalline" album here from Sound In Silence.
Daily Jam - Falling for You
I realize this makes me just like all those other crusty, grumpy, old music nerds, but with the exception of those first two wonderful albums, i just can't do Weezer anymore. So, the band is still firmly planted in the '90s for me, a sound for an older era. Here's "Falling for You" from "Pinkerton," our Daily Jam.

Daily Jam - Sonic Bloom
These days, it can be really, really tough to stay sane, to stay calm, to not give in to despair. That's generally when i throw on something by Tripping Daisy to level myself, to feel some beauty and love. So let's all listen to "Sonic Bloom" from the band's unbelievably excellent "Jesus Hits Like The Atom Bomb," our Daily Jam.
