Daily Jam - Der Fuehrer's Face
I've had this cued up since Wednesday, but the media seemingly does not want to just let it happen. So screw it, i'm calling it. You heard it hear first, Spike Jones's "Der Fuehrer's Face," our Daily Jam.

Daily Jam - The End of the World
Can somebody out there in internet-land cut a video of sad Trump and set it to Skeeter Davis's "The End of the World" for me? That would be great. In the meanwhile, here's Skeeter Davis with our Daily Jam.
Quakers Featuring Sampa The Great
I was unaware that we were getting a new Quakers album this year, much less that it's dropping next week. That's wonderful news as any new music from Geoff Barrow should be considered, and i hope just the first of a string of wonderful news we get today. Anyway, check out the Sampa The Great assisted "Approach With Caution" below and order the record here from Stones Throw.
White Flowers Cover Red House Painters
Not sure how i missed this back in May, but UK dreampop band White Flowers covered "Katy Song" by Red House Painters and it's wonderful. It's been a long year though, so these things happen. Anyway, the "Day by Day" 12" record is long sold out, but you can still get the download via Tough Love here, and check out the group's other releases too.

Daily Jam - Riot Act
It's appearing more and more likely that Trump is outta there, which is certainly a good thing, but i fear that there is a veritable tsunami of bullshit on its way in the near future. I think i'm going to try and get more involved. Here's "Riot Act" from Elvis Costello and The Attractions, our Daily Jam.
Mangel
Here's some minimalist cold wave from Berlin artist Mangel to bob and nod to while we all wait another day to see what happens. Listen to "Graceful Rituals" below and get the "Graphic Latin-Vatican Laundry" 7" here.

The Left Outsides
I broke my own self-inflicted rule of not drinking during the middle of the week yesterday. I'll probably break it again today. But i still have to work, and i still have to take care of my kids, so for now, i'll just try to calm my frayed nerves with music. "Are You Sure I Was There?" is the latest album from UK psych folk husband and wife duo The Left Outsides. It and everything else i'm going to listen to today have some heavy lifting to do. Check out "A Face in the Crowd" below and get the LP here (US) or here (elsewhere).

Daily Jam - If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next
It's an ugly state of affairs. And deep in my heart i don't believe anything will get better until everything falls apart. But i'm also a straight white man, so things are never quite as dire for me as they are for others. I'm not going to vote shame anybody. Everyone should vote their conscience. But i will forever be pissed off that in this moment of time, my best option was a right of center, status quo candidate over an authoritarian, fascistic death cult. Here's Manic Street Preachers with "If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next," our Daily Jam.
