Daily Jam - I'm Sorry I Sang on Your Hands that Must Have Been in the Grave
During the indie boom of the mid/late '00s, it seemed like every single band had a dozen side projects, which was kind of awesome and built a bigger sense of community. One of those side projects was Wolf Parade member Spencer Krug's Sunset Rubdown. The artist made some really weird and quirky pop that i'm still jamming to a decade and a half later. Check out "I'm Sorry I Sang on Your Hands that Must Have Been in the Grave" below, our Daily Jam.

SRSQ
Here's a new track from the now Dallas-based artist SRSQ. "Someday I Will Bask in the Sun" retains the artist's normal dreamy aesthetic, but drops the more goth vibes that her work is known for. It makes for a sunny jam. Check it out below and get it here from Dais.

Dead Femme's Chest
Here's a crusty garage banger from Canadian band Dead Femme's Chest, appropriately titled "The End of It All 2022." Listen below and get the the lathe cut "Love and Death" 7" EP here from Morgue.
Young Prisms
Young Prisms was one of those names i saw thrown around a bunch over a decade ago during the quasi indie boom of the late '00s, pushed by a bunch of music blogs at the time. They were good, but i haven't thought about them in years. But now it seems they have a new album heading our way in March. Check out the reverb-heavy shoegaze of "Yourside" below and pre-order the upcoming "Drifter" LP here from Fire Talk.

Marissa Nadler Covers Alessi
Gothy folk chanteuse Marissa Nadler spreads her wings a little bit with her latest release, "The Wrath of the Clouds." The EP features songs not used on last year's "The Path of the Clouds" along with a couple of covers, including this take on the Alessi yacht rock jam "Seabird." Check it out below and get it here from Sacred Bones.

Daily Jam - White Slavery
For some reason or another, i kind of bailed on Type O Negative after "October Rust." I don't really know why, they probably just weren't where my head was at the time. Going back now and listening to some of those later albums for the first time, and they're really good, not mind-blowing in the way that Rust and "Bloody Kisses" were because i'm not a teenager anymore, but a nice forward progression of the band's sound. Guess i should have stuck around. Anyway, here's "White Slavery," a cut from the '99 album "World Coming Down," our Daily Jam.

Daily Jam - Doomsdayer's Holiday
With the latest variant in this seemingly never ending pandemic plowing through the public to the collective shoulder shrug of our elected leaders, i'm not feeling particularly hopeful about anything moving forward. So maybe some complimentary ominous music is needed. Here's "Doomsdayer's Holiday" from Grails, our Daily Jam.
