Daily Jam - Young Girls
Recently i've been checking out the works of experimental New York composer Peter Gordon and fell into his weird and groovy work with the Love of Life Orchestra. The band's 1980 album "Geneva" is a mix of new wave, electronics, disco, jazz, and more. Dig on the sounds of "Young Girls" below, our Daily Jam.

Daily Jam - Farewell / Goodbye
It's wild to think that i've been listening to M83 for over 20 years now. Just an insane thing to realize. Anyway, here's one of my favs from 2005's "Before the Dawn Heals Us." Listen to "Farewell / Goodbye" below, our Daily Jam.

Jonnine
I'm not quite sure how to describe the music of Australian artist Jonnine. Her sounds are something akin to music for ghosts, bits and pieces of different instruments and vocals floating in the ether, occasionally coming together, but more often than not just feeling like the skeletal remains of something that used to be, or the beginning of something new and different. It's equal parts haunting and mesmerizing. Check out "Southside Girl" below, download the new album of same name here, and order the LP here from Modern Love.

Daily Jam - Where Do I Go
I recently discovered the neo-folk synth sounds of underground artist Happy Rhodes thanks to a wonderful cover by Marissa Nadler and the efforts of the Numero Group record label painstakingly seeking, remastering, and re-releasing the artist's sonic artifacts. Check out the lo-fi and dreamy 1986 track "Where Do I Go" below, our Daily Jam. And be sure to check out her other stuff too. It's a veritable treasure trove of lost pop.

Public Service Broadcasting
Public Service Broadcasting is a London based electronic-tinged alt-rock band whose new album "The Last Flight" is set to drop in October. And they just released and absolute gem of a ballad from the record with "The South Atlantic" featuring lead vocals from This Is the Kit, the indie folk project of Kate Stables. I'm going to be listening to this one on repeat for a little while today. Check the video for the track out below and pre-order the LP here.
Shower Curtain
I caught Brooklyn band Shower Curtain on a whim, as i do so many bands, during SXSW earlier this year and quite enjoyed their their throwback mix of alternative rock, shoegaze, and pop. The band's upcoming new album "Words from a Wishing Well" is out in October on Angel Tapes. Pre-order it here and listen to "Wish U Well" below.

George Clanton & TV Girl
Likeminded indie pop weirdos George Clanton and TV Girl have joined forces for a pair of trippy, melty pop jams to close out the summer to. "Summer 2000" is the perfect kind of tune to soundtrack a pool party, sun high in the sky, drinks flowing. Check it out below.
Kelly Lee Owens
UK electronic artist Kelly Lee Owens is readying her new album "Dreamstate" for release this October, and just dropped the club-ready new single "Sunshine." It's a swirly, blissed out raver that feels like the kind of stuff we used to shake and convulse to after getting stoned out of our minds. Check it out below and pre-order the new LP here from dh2.
Wings of Desire
Here's some great new alt-rock from UK duo Wings of Desire. The pair's new "Shut Up & Listen" EP is out at month's end. Check out the practically fist-pumping anthem "OUTTAMYMIND" below and snag a copy of the cassette here from the band.
Daily Jam - Zombie
I have probably gotten this song stuck in my head once a week for the last 30 years. Come along with me and have it in your head too. Here's The Cranberries with "Zombie," our Daily Jam.
