The house i grew up in was really close to the high school. In the Fall, you could always hear the band practicing, the brass and drumline echoing into the sky. We get the same thing in the house i live in now, the high school being just around the way. I love it. Anyway, when i was in high school, the morning drive to school was a short one, and i could time it to God Lives Underwater's "Tortoise," a song that began pulling out of my parents' driveway and concluded by the time i found my parking space.
