Melvins
I had a couple of friends pop up in my feed over the last couple days with links to the upcoming new Melvins album "Working with God." And i finally just checked it out this morning and have had the biggest shit eating grin on my face ever since. Absolutely delightful. Listen to "I Fuck Around" below and pre-order the record here from Ipecac.

Mr. Bungle
In 1986, high school band Mr. Bungle recorded "The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo," a thrash metal arrival of sorts. In 2020, newly reunited Mr. Bungle re-recorded "The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo," another thrash metal arrival of sorts. The new recording features assists from Scott Ian and Dave Lombardo, and includes some songs written 35 years ago that were never recorded. I was super busy with work yesterday and missed the album's announcement, and it seems that the most of the physical pre-orders of it have already sold out. Boo. I was able to hopefully procure a copy through a local record store in Austin, and i'd recommend you try the same if this sort of thing is your bag. Anyway, listen to "Raping Your Mind" below and look for the record from Ipecac.

King Buzzo with Trevor Dunn
New music from King Buzzo, or any Melvin member for that matter, is always welcome news around these parts. And this time around, paired with fellow Fantomas and former (maybe reunited) Mr. Bungle member Trevor Dunn, i'm all in. Listen to the crunchy acoustic blues of "Science in Modern America" below and pre-order the upcoming "Gift of Sacrifice" LP here from Ipecac.

Mike Patton and Jean-Claude Vannier
Here's another track from the upcoming collaboration between Mike Patton Jean-Claude Vannier. Watch the occult and pagan tinged (and also kind of NSFW) video for the lush and gorgeous "Chanson D'Amour" below and pre-order the "Corpse Flower" LP here from Ipecac.

Corpse Flower
Holy shit! Mike Patton is making a record with French composer Jean Claude Vannier. The project is called Corpse Flower and it's due in September on Ipecac. By all accounts, these two should create something quite weird and amazing. Check out the first single, "On Top of the World," below. And much thanks to my brother for throwing this information my way.
