I am not a religious person...like at all. I went to a Christian private school for a number of years during my youth, but i guess the daily chapel sessions never took. That being said, i sure can dig on some gospel. Hailing from Chicago's South Side, Pastor T.L. Barrett and the Youth For Christ Choir released the positively sublime "Like a Ship...(Without a Sail)" in 1971, a record full of soul-laden gospel tunes to capture even the most atheistic heart (like mine).
