One of the artists that i meant to check out during SXSW is Dublin's experimental R&B, hip-hop, and neo-soul artist Bricknasty. Typically during the fest i try to see some stuff outside of my normal wheelhouse, but it was not to be this year with this particular artist. The timing just never worked. Anyway, digging into his "Blacks Law" album from last October, and it's a weird, sometimes glitchy, sometimes smooth and soulful affair.
