Dreamy, experimental artist White Poppy completes her "Paradise Gardens" trilogy with new album "Ataraxia," a lush and whimsical mix of bedroom shoegaze, bossa nova, new age, and lo-fi electronic hum. The mix of sounds and styles makes for an ethereal listen. Check out "Soul Utopia" below and get the LP here from Not Not Fun.

White Poppy
White Poppy is the sound of falling asleep outside on a summer day, waking in a haze, and then wandering down the proverbial rabbit hole. The band's "Drifters Gold" cassette is available from Constellation Tatsu, but you should listen to "Who Are You" below now and then float away. Bits of dreampop sashaying around with folk and psych rock, like some of the more airy sounding tunes from Slowdive. I'm hooked.
