Tame Impala's transformation from psych rock project to pop behemoth over the last 15 years has been quite something to behold.  And it continues on the upcoming new album "Deadbeat" next month.  Check out new single "Dracula" below and look for the LP in couple of weeks on Columbia.

Justice

French electronic duo Justice are back this April with all the roller boogie beats and grooves you can handle with new album "Hyperdrama."  And on new track "One Night/All Night," Tame Impala is along for the ride...which fits the vibe of the proceedings perfectly.  Dig on the song below and pre-order the new LP here from Ed Banger Records and Because Music.

Thundercat & Tame Impala

LA artist Thundercat just dropped a new track, his first in a bit, this time around with the aid of Tame Impala.  It's a groovy one too.  Check out "No More Lies" below and download it here from Brainfeeder.

Gorillaz, Tame Impala, & Bootie Brown

I remember 20 years ago when i figured Damon Albarn's and Jamie Hewlett's Gorillaz project would be one of those one-off things.  Boy was i wrong.  Here we are 20 years later, and the group have a new album on the way.  Check out new song "New Gold" featuring Tame Impala and Bootie Brown below.  It's got me toe-tapping.  And be on the lookout for the upcoming "Cracker Island" early next year on Parlophone.

Tame Impala - Posthumous Forgiveness

Tame Impala have been releasing singles from their upcoming new album "The Slow Rush" for months now, and with the record on the horizon (February), the band have released another song, the quasi-two-parter "Posthumous Forgiveness."  The tune starts as a slinky, soulful piece of psychedelia before morphing into an airy, R&B flavored piece of dreampop.  Check it out below and get the record next year on Modular.

Tame Impala - Borderline

Tame Impala's transition from poppy psych rock band to full on synth pop outfit might be weird if it didn't feel so organic and if they weren't so goddamn good at it.  It's all lush pop and groove, and i am here for it.  Anyway, still no word on a new album yet, but the band did release another new single, "Borderline."  Listen below.

Tame Impala - Patience

Hey, it's new music from Tame Impala.  New jam "Patience" finds the band continuing to explore the synth pop and psych sounds they began with 2015's "Currents" venturing into chilled, soft rock territory.  I think i can get behind this.  Spring's begun and Summer's only around the corner, and "Patience" certainly has some pool vibes going for it.  Anyway, listen below, and probably be on the lookout for a new record sometime in the near(ish) future.

Pond

Pond is the new psych rock project from former Tame Impala bassist Nick Allbrook.  New album "The Weather" is due in May on Marathon Artists, and if "Sweep Me Off My Feet" is any indication, Pond will be traversing the synthy, poppy waters of his former band's "Currents" LP.  That's a good thing.  Watch the video below.

Tame Impala - Let It Happen

Take a listen to new disco ball highlighted single from psych rock band Tame Impala.  "Let It Happen" comes from the group's as of yet untitled third LP and feels like a pulsing, subdued psych dance jam, a synthesized lament-filled boogie.  If it's a new direction for the band, i think i dig it.  If it's just a little one-off dalliance, i still dig it.  Listen below.

Tame Impala remixed by Chrome Canyon

Tame Impala's stand out track "It Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" from last year's "Lonerism" gets the remix treatment from synth artist Chrome Canyon, creating an even floatier, dreamier version of the song.  Listen and download below.
